That Frankenstein trapped in me
I am a commodity.
They sell me diet food,
And tell me to be myself.
When I am myself,
Not soft, sensitive, emotional.
They tell me I am trying to be a man.
My would be achievements are tied
to a frantic biological time bomb.
I perennially wait for judgement,
from a hormonally imbalanced world.
And once a year,
it wishes me a Happy Women’s Day.
